Commissioned by Constructora Sambil, this design mitigates the impact of the mall’s 40-meter-high monolithic massing by integrating the original structure into a more dynamic architectural language. The project intervention utilizes a backlit second skin of curved Alucobond ribbons at the corners to break the volume, metaphorically opening the building’s energy to the surrounding community. Advanced design-to-production workflows were employed to ensure the high-fidelity fabrication of complex geometry and formal loyalty to the original intent.
